Background Information

     Oral and maxillofacial surgeons spend additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school.  The oral and maxillofacial surgery residency includes training side-by-side with Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons, ENT Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Physicians, Emergency Room Physicians, Pediatricians, and Intensive Care Specialists. 

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr.'s Kirsch, Sandau and Jacobs manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.  Doctors Kirsch, Sandau and Jacobs specialize in dental implant surgery,  reconstructive bone grafting, bone preservation techniques, wisdom tooth removal, out-patient anesthesia,  and tooth extractions. These include techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. They also treat children and adults suffering from trauma, infections, cysts and tumors of the jaws.

     Dr. Michael H. Kirsch has been treating patients in Caldwell, NJ for over eleven years.  The office is licensed by the State of New Jersey for General Anesthesia and IV Sedation.

The team

     The NJ Center for Oral Surgery team includes dedicated and experienced patient care coordinators,  anesthesia and surgical assistants, practice administrator and insurance coordinators.  All these people work together to provide the best possible experience for patients.  All staff are informed on HIPPA and infection control  procedures and are CPR certified.
